Seth McNew
Seth McNew is a multidisciplinary strategist, working across conflict transformation, communication, and coaching, while always seeking adventure and service. With a career defined by navigating high-stakes environments, from complex tech and society communications, to acrobatics in some of the world’s largest theater shows, he offers a unique perspective on human connection in volatile spaces.
As a former professional acrobat with Cirque du Soleil and a high-level competitive diver, Seth spent years mastering the physiological and psychological demands of elite performance under extreme pressure. This experience in somatic regulation amid high-intensity work builds on how he teaches people to show up in conflict and negotiation.
At Google and within high-growth tech startups, Seth focused on executive communications, helping to take the many puzzle pieces of a complex multi-national business with many interests internally and externally, and help people discover where those interests overlap, and what story can be told around. He also has a background in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and intelligence, further helping to identify nuanced patterns, risk, and manage human dynamics within intense environments.
Seth studied mediation from Harvard Law School, and International Security Policy at Stanford University, and studied. He also holds an M.B.A. from the University of Denver, and studied Mandarin Chinese at Beijing Language and Culture University through the U.S. State Department’s critical language scholarship program.
His work is dedicated to synthesizing these many fields, blending best practices in conflict research, storytelling, relationship building, and physiology, to develop innovative strategies for conflict resolution. Whether it’s for business, local communities, or high-conflict zones and humanitarian disputes, Seth seeks to foster more resilient, productive, and sustainable outcomes in the world’s most challenging environments.
